There's an ad on the Greensboro, NC craigslist for a steel guitar. I emailed about it, and it's a Marlen D10 with 8 pedals, and 2 knee levers. The woman selling it responded that it was her late husband's guitar, and that he got it around 1975. The asking price is $600. I'm a lap steel player, and I don't know values on pedal steels, but it seems like a good deal. I have no financial interest in this, I just thought that I'd pass it along, and maybe two people would end up happy.

She sent me two pictures, but I'm not sure if I can forward them. If you contact her, she can send them.

I have a 1975 S-10 Marlen, and I hope it's worth more than that.
If it's in good shape, I think it's underpriced. At least I hope it is, not that I'm selling mine.
