Any one who has refurbished there Vol or VT pedal, with the Dunlop 470K pot knows are (legal)pot prayers have come true.
I have had one in my Fender VT pedal for three and a half years, Not a hitch I cant say they that about any other product, and believe me I have tried them all and punished them hard when I was on the road.
But that's only half the fix for guys using VT pedals ie Bigsby Fender.
Here's my question have any of you seen a conductive plastic 100K linear taper pot so you can upgrade the tone.

That's all I've used (probably have replaced about 75 old pots) in the past year and a half and they are great!

The original tone and volume pots in the Fender Tone And Volume pedal was a 250K. The 500K or Dunlop pot works quite well in them.

Would using a 100k in the tone section really be an upgrade? Isn't it actually eliminating more highs than a 470k?

Ken, you are correct Fender did use a 250K, and a .5 cap for tone in there pedals, and it was Audio taper.
I have kind of gone over to the Bigsby specs 100k linear .1 cap (its a cleaner Doo Wah), he called for a 1meg vol pot, but its a little rowdy so i split the difference between the two pedals, and ended up with a 500K then eventually the Dunlop. Also I split the difference with the caps, and have a .47 and a .22 in parallel.
Gary, I dont notice any loss in high end, and by upgrade I was referring to conductive plastic.
