| Wow that's clean. She's a beauty. My first electric guitar was a baby blue Musicmaster I bought at Leonard's Dept Store downtown Ft Worth. I payed $110.00 for it. I wish I had a thousand to spare. |

The pickup is original as are the pots, tuners,
pickguard, etc. There is virtually no finish wear on the neck. This guitar
has not been played much at all, The fretboard and frets are all in great
shape and will not need service for years even if you played it a lot.
There are a few dings in the body but not many. In real time it looks very
nice. The white has turned a cream color. The headstock decal is still in
great condition. Back then they did not apply finish over the water decal
because it would wrinkle up. So many of the old decals are missing pieces
but this one is real intact. The newer Fenders used a different process and
there was finish over the decal starting in the 70's. Also, they were not a
nitro finish on the body like these oldies
The body has virtually no checking. Very little checking on the front of the
headstock. You really need to hold the guitar in the perfect lighting to see
any of it. Many of the oldies have a lot of checking as you well may know.
It's a 24 inch scale with a 1 5/8 nut. |
