I have been using the less expensive Digi Techs RP100 & RP200... in place of my PROFEX II's I recently picked up a GT8 but dont like what I hear in the GT8... The DigiTechs are easier to program and I am comfortable with them. I want to know if any Steel/6 string players are using the New RP500 by Digi Tech.

I just bought one and sent it back for a refund. I was unable to get an acceptable clean tone out of it. Seems like it is designed mainly for rockers. I also had an RP350 and liked it. I also have a GP1101 rack unit and like it better than anything I've tried. They can be found on eBay for around $350.
