I Have A Mid 80's Show-Bud LDG
I'm Having A Problem Lowering The 4th String To D#
A Friend Came By Today And He Said The Finger In The
Changer Was Binding.
The Question Is: Is There A Quick Fix For This Problem?
Also Any One Know Where I Can Find Parts If I Need Any.
Any Information Would Be Appreciated.

Yes here is the fix.
Loosen the strings.
take off all springs on strings 1 through 4.
Pound out axle until fingers 1 through 4 fall out underneath.
Take the 4th finger and see where the fulcrom piece pushes agains the top piece of the finger assembly.
Now you can see that bent piece has worn a groove in that top piece. Take some plyers and bend that piece in a little...to where now the bent piece is pushing on a freash un-grooved area..
Install the reverse way you took apart and your good to go.
Otherwise get superfingers from Coop and drop them right in and never have a prob again...plus will sound 100% better and like a shobud should sound.
