Thanks, Mike! I haven't heard that song, I'll give it a listen.
This was at a release party for a quarterly art and poetry publication called "Meat for Tea", held at a very cool studio in my town called Sonelab.

Mike, the frontman is a big Alex Chilton fan, so I wouldn't be suprised if that song had some influence!
