Greetings,
I have installed E9th tuning on my gront neck of my Fender double 8.
I was recomended to use a C6 tuning on the back.
Aren't the intervals about the same on these two?
So other than playing in a higher register, what is the advantage?

Thanks,
Jack

The intervals on E9 should be different from those on C6. That's the whole point of using two different tunings.
Actually, there is another point too: the two tunings give you more notes available as open strings.
