Morrell Music seems to have updated their line of lap steels.
Here's a new model I hadn't seen before.

Has anyone played one of these yet? Review?

I had one of these a couple of years ago. I replaced the bridge and made a matching bezel for the pickup. I liked the raised fingerboard with real frets. About a 22½" scale if I remember right. A cut above most of the Morrell's I've seen.

The fret-board markers look to be 'iffy' past the 12th fret.

And what's with the regular, and sale prices? Both $269?
