There is a new venue for the festival...The Bettystown Court Hotel. www.bettystowncourt.com We have managed to get it for the same weekend. It is a 4 star hotel only 3 kms from the Europa. It is near Drogheda , the motorway and Dublin airport. It has 120 rooms ,a swimming pool and leisure facility.It is near the beach and there is a championship golf course .They are doing Fri and Sat night for 130euros a night and 100 for Thurs , Sun and Mon...for double rooms.Our star performer this year will be Joe Wright. I believe Al Brisco and Jim Cohen are coming and a possible Lucky Oceans as well as the other usual suspects.

This is ALWAYS a wonderful show, in a wonderful place hosted by the most wonderful folks and players in the world. Richard Nelson is a perfect host.
ANYBODY that can make this incredible show will never be sorry they did.
This beautiful country and the great folks that make it that way are way above the standards expected for these events.
What am I saying here? GO TO THIS SHOW!

| Think Richard has made mistake with dates, as far as I know it should be Saturday 11th/ Sunday 12th October, reason I know this is I just messed up going to festival by booking a holiday to Boston on those dates , and as holiday involves wife guess which one I am going to.I have arranged for my trusty pack of Scottish steelies to go and represent me. |
