Does anyone have one for sale???

or any information on them...is there anything else on the market now like this. Is stringtone the only company that made these?

Mike,
I will send you a picture of my "Lap-Strat" with the Hipshot Trilogy on it along with a Loni Spector "Redneck".

Believe me, you don't want a Stringtone changer unless you're restoring an old steel that had one. They're very inaccurate in my experience. You might find this current thread on HSGA's forum interesting: http://www.hsga.org/forum/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1155495481

The HSGA Forum above that Mike Fried suggested shows a changer that I have designed and built with Bobby Ingano of Hawaii playing it. It works very well and stays in tune. Here it is again.

When we return from Florida in the spring I may consider building a few if anyone is interested.

I have gotten them to work fine. If you want to come out to Studio City, you can try the stringtone and the triplex out some time. The hipshot trilogy is completely different. It is for changing tunings. The stringtone is for pedal steel effects. You can change the entire chord with one movement while sustaining a chord.
