What's you guys experience on SIT stainless steel strings, are they brighter than reg SIT??
I've got them on a Desert Rose.

Yes, stainless is brighter than nickel in any brand.

Only the wound strings are stainless, so you won't really notice any difference in the plain ones.

They are brighter. Although I preferred the Nickels, I could go a whole month of 5-6 night's a week giggin' with the stainless strings. So I used them.

I think that only the wound strings are nickel, and the plain are all stainless.

Plain strings are all plain steel - not stainless. Plain strings differ from manufacturer to manufacturer only in quality control and how they attach the ball end (and what type of ball is used. Only the wound strings differ as fas as metal winding type.

I prefer nickel strings....as far as "brightness" is concerned, I can ge WAY more brightness with my amp settings than I can use !! Very Happy
