Cost probably little of nothing compared to today. I know in 1970, I bought a Professional Sho-Bud for about $800+ new.

So you can imagine.

A different time and place.

I expect these were made until Sho-Bud went out of business. This looks to be one of the later ones.

That was the last model made, and I believe started in the mid-'70s. The mechanics were the best, but the body, neck (none), and finish (vinyl covering) were the worst. The model before this one cost about $450 '70s dollars as I recall.
