I've been looking to buy a Sho-Bud Christmas Tree amp. I don't know what the real model name is. I've played through a friends and it sounded quite similar to a Standel. That's good enough for me.
I'm in the Los Angeles area for shipping considerations.
Thanks - Terry McArthur |

Hi Bob
I did see it but it is packaged with a steel guitar. I wouldn't mind both but only have the budget for the amp. |

I see now that the Ebay Christmas Tree amp and the Sho-Bud Pro 1 package were sold off-line. I was seriously thinking about making a run at the pair. Oh well. Still hoping one of you guys is going to part with one.

Yeah, those are great amps. I was thinking of selling mine, but started using it and found it to be awesome! I love an amp with volume, treble and bass and sounds good most anywhere you turn the knobs.
I'll keep an eye out for you. |

Terry, Check this out on e-Bay. Does not appear to have power amp or the left channel volume knob but the pre-amp is there. (preamp on the Dual Channel amp is located in the control panel) You could recap the pre-amp, install a Stewart PA-100 Power Amp and a speaker and be good to go.

Thanks for the tip Robert.
I did look with interest when that amp appeared. Still hmmmming about it. I would much rather find an original in great condition.
