I believe he uses the following tuning:

1. G
2. E
3. C
4. A
5. G
6. E
7. C
8. Bb

That's the tuning from Andy Volk's book, too, I think.

That tune lays out very nicely in plain ole 6 string C6 (low to high) C E G A C E
