is any one familliar with the zum stage one built in branson MO is the changer radically different from a regular zum steel?

The Stage One changer is nothing like the pro ZumSteel. The Stage One is a simple single finger pull / release system, which is great for the intended purpose. The downside is that the setup can't be altered without a lot of rework.
