Hello Friends and Neighbors.
It's time for our July meeting and this one is a round robin plus a pot luck picnic feast. Bring your steel and something yummy to eat! Last year, someone brought some of the best home-grown tomatoes I have ever had in my life so be sure to bring your appetite.
Because of the pot luck, we try to start the meeting an hour earlier than usual to give everyone who wants to pick a chance at eating something before it's all gone.
Time: 1pm - 5pm (that's Eastern Daylight Time)
Where: Russell's Shed
4840 SR-44 West
Shepherdsville, KY
The music will start at 2pm so come on up to the ridge for some good country music and some good country cooking!
Everyone is welcome.
Let me know if you have any questions.

My apologies to everyone who received our recent newsletter with the wrong date on it. I meant to put July 20th but sent it out as July 13th. So much for quality control.
Please let all our friends know that they have not missed this month's show (yet)...it is this coming Sunday afternoon, July 20th, 2008. |

I'd like to remind everybody one more that tomorrow's Louisville Metro Steel Guitar Club meeting is our July picnic and open stage. Our treasurer, Mr. Clyde Coffey just called to remind me that I put the wrong date on the newsletter.
Thanks Clyde!
Hope to see you tomorrow...I'm bringing some chicken and I hope you all bring something good to go with it! |

Well, despite the fact that there were no home grown tomatoes this year, today's meeting was a real good time with lots of good food and friendly folks.
If you missed this year's Independence picnic, there's always next year! |
