JERRY BYRD is playing for YOUR listening pleasure once again on his fan club site.

A straight instrumental as only JERRY could do it. Then, a great golden, olde with Cowboy Copas and another with Ferlin Husky.

Ferlin's tune has Jerry playing in his Diatonic tuning and it's really a great sound!

Why not give it a listen?

Awesome Ray. That one with Cowboy Copas is great. I couldn't find the one with Ferlin Husky though.

Hi Ray !! Thanks for playing that Copas song " Forever " with the "Byrd" !! One of my very favorite songs !! I've always enjoyed Cowboy Copas music and even more so with the Byrd flying along !! Eddie "C" ( the old non-pedal geezer )

So glad you guys are enjoying the JBFC site. I take it quite seriously. He contributed so much good music and not enough folks have had the pleasure of getting to hear it.

THANKS Dan for sharing with Andy. I hadn't got back to the Forum as I was having 'puter troubles.

THANKS TO EVERYONE. Eddie, you keep me motivated!

My all time JB favorite is backing Ferlin Husky on The Waltz You Saved For Me. Almost makes me want to give up pedals...
Ray, Check your email.

Bill, thanks for sharing.

I have a number of tunes with similar steel playing being demonstrated by JERRY BYRD. It was never a frantic finger-string stretching technique but simply and more beautifully, bar slanting and hand movement.

I hope to get more of these tunes before the public.
