Got this from Hank the other day - www.hankshouseofsteel.com
Looks to be a new venture and will no doubt be further expanding thier inventory and web page.

Two oddities----

--nowhere that I can see, and I looked and looked, can I find out who Hank is. There are several references to "WE" but I can find no person, no address, no phone number. It is an odd oversight to leave out any hint of personal touch. In our steel family/community, the last thing I want is an anonymous business transaction. I can get that at Musician's Friend. When I went to the Hanks Myspace page I thought "aha! at least there will be a photo of Hank".....but nope.

And the other thing----on the list of links there is no link to the Steel Guitar Forum. How can that not be the first link on any steel related website? But it's not even there, first, middle or last.
Got me scratching my head and I'm pretty sure it's not the nits this time.

If you'd like, I can give you his Email address if you don't find a contact source. I havn't had the time to complete my perusal of the site yet.
He's responsive and would no doubt appreciate hearing your concerns.

Just lemmeno.

I bought some strings from him a week or so ago. No problems, responded really quick and I got 'em quick.
FWIW.

Hey--I'm not on any war path here and I would welcome another quality source for accessories. I do already have several sources that I have used who have histories, reputations and faces. And there are several more that I have not yet done business with who have strong positive feedback on the forum. All of them are 'people'.
This new one cannot begin to compete for my business as long as he remains just a website and not a person.
By all means bring my comments to his attention. I hope he takes them as constructive criticism. I wish him well.

He used to have an eBay store. I bought a bar holder from him for someone else. Good transaction. I got a postcard from him and added his site to my favorites list. Looks like he has reasonable prices.

I've been buying SIT strings from his ebay store for several years and have always gotten great service.

Jon, I think it's safe to say this guy's a straight shooter if he gets approval on the Steel Guitar Forum.

I love the retro design of his site, very cool.

He does have a link to Brad's page which is an indirect ling to this forum.
