Maggie Blues by Flatt and Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys, recorded December 3, 1961 in Mount Vernon, Virginia.

Rest in Peace, Uncle Josh.

Thanks for posting that Brad.

Try to go back and think just how radical that sound was in 1961. Between Josh and Earl-these guys were such innovative players.

The recording is obviously a little rough, but if you really listen closely to Josh from the perspective of being a dobro student-there is A LOT to take in there. Man!
