Does anyone know the exact name of the chromatic chord walk-down in Asleep At The Wheel's version of Route 66?

hi Gary - if you are in the key of G, try Bmin7-Abmin7-Amin7-Gb7-G.

GARY!! ouch!!! - i am really sorry!! and that certainly isnt very chromatic - I just read this since posting it! I guess i should have hit the preview button before i posted it - see if this sounds better>>>> Bmin> Bbmin> Amin> Ab7> G7 - you can play it on strings 6-7-8 with the b pedal on fret 5 - 4 - 3 then strings 9-6-5 om fret 4 to fret 3 - hope that does you better - my apologies

Chuck, I suppose that's one way to play it. I just stayed on strings 4-5-6 and played this.

5BC - 4BC - 3BC - 4 - 3. It's not an Ab7 but it's close enough when the rest of the band is playing the 7th chord.

I guess there's probably a hundred different ways to do it. I just wanted to stay on the same strings for that lick.
