For those of you that remember Cowboy Copas, (He died in a tragic plane crash along with
Hawshaw Hawkins and Patsy Cline)....here's an oldie that has that "special flavor" of steel guitar that make some olde grown men weep......

Hope you like it. Edward Cunningham of Middleboro, MA., I hope you enoy it.

I've messed with this now for over a half hour and still can't get it to work for me.
I guess one can always go to I/E to get there. How frustrating and embarassing!!!

The instrumental by Jerry is an equisite taste of the Master of Touch and Tone.

There is such beautiful expression with the steel and precise chordal expressions.

But the song title is not "Jesu Meke Kanaka Waiwai", but I can't recall the song title.

Aloha,
Don

It's "Serenade to Nalani" from the Steel Guitar Hawaiian Style album, recorded earlier as "Bird of Paradise".

I'm embarassed...........

I don't speak the language........

I took it directly from the album.......

I took it from the disc center piece.......

Thank goodness....there are some reliable authorities here.

Jeff beat me to it. That is certainly not Kanaka Waiwai. At any rate, it is a lovely rendition by JB.

Unfortunately, it is a part of the aging process.

Another axiom: It is hard to be perfect!!
