I just purchased a used 10 string Lap Steel and need advice. I've tried, unsuccessfully, to locate tabs or teaching material designed ONLY for 10 string. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Fred

Fred, the only 10-string material I've heard about is designed specifically for the Alkire tuning.

Fred,

It seems most lap tunings are either 6,7,8 or 12 string nowadays. I got a ton of 10 string C6 tab on my web site and some of the riffs there don't use pedals but the tuning is D E C A G E C A F C high to low string. Also most of the 35 or so C6 lap tabs I've posted can be played directly on a 10 string C6 tuning.

At first I thought my post would go unanswered. But thanks to you, Stephan and Greg, there is hope. I've already started researching both of your suggestions.
Once again Forum members have helped make my day. Thanks to both of you. Fred
