Hello Paul;
I had to do a bit of searching but i did find what i was looking for.On the older steel forum there was a question asked & several guys replied but Mr Jim Webb himself also replied ( he is now deceased ) so you can read what he said about how to set his amps..My best to you & hope you find a setting you like..Ron

When I had my Webb, I learned early on, NOT to look at the numbers. The Webbs can get a little bit extreme---Still a great amp
