This a reminder that we will be having our 16th annual GSGA show at the Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville. We presently have 21 players scheduled. You can go to our website, www.gospelsteel.com and find more info regarding directions, motel, players, etc. The Fiddlers Inn said that we have used up most of the block of rooms that they set aside for us. So if you need a room please call them at 615-885-1440 and tell them you are with the gospel steel show. The reduced price for us is $60.95 plus tax. It is next door to the theater and Ernest Tubb Record shop.

Yeah, too bad that you couldn't get any big name players to commit to play, Doug! Laughing

Sounds like a great show for sure!

Are they rookies too ? I noticed a Bobbe Seymour also. Won't it be hard to get a crowd with so many unheard of players ?
I guess you know what you are doing, you have always had good luck in the past. Very Happy

We had to miss the show in Indy last year so I am really looking forward to playing this one. I hope I can visit with some of my friends in Nashville that I have gotten acquainted with thru the Forum and have never got to meet in person. It's gonna be very enjoyable and the Gospel event is much more than just a show or convention. It is something very special. Thanks Doug,
Jerry

Yep, it's getting close. Now that some other stuff is behind me, I better start planning a show.
One of the greatest country singers ever, Mike Siler, will be on my set.

As Mike says, YIPPEE

It will be a challenge using a strange sound system, but I am looking forward to the experience.

As always happens, there will be some changes to the show line up as we get closer to the dates. This is to let you know that Stu Basore will be replaced in the schedule with Terry Crisp. We will miss Stu but look forward to having Terry with us. Please set aside this weekend to come and be with us. We'll do our very best to make it the best show we've ever had.

Doug, I am looking forward to being there this year. I will also be bringing my Saxaphone guy with me if any other players need a good sax man. Blessings, Albert

I sure hope to be able to make it to the Gospel show. I know that it being in Nashville will make it more likely that I'll be able to attend this year. It certainly sounds like a great lineup for sure.

Now Doug tells me I am sandwiched between Mike Johnson and Doug Jernigan. Whew.

I don't know if I am opening or closing for these two.

Come see us at the show.

It's just 4 weeks until the show and things are beginning to get exciting. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of you who have not been able to be with us due to the distance. There are several who are helping us make this the best show ever. This will be our 16th year doing this and the first time to be in Nashville. Please set aside this time and come.

If you were ever thinking about coming to the annual GSGA show this should be the year. We have a lot of things lined up that you don't want to miss. Even though this is our 16th year, this is the first one in Nashville and we hope it will continue.
