Carroll,

I have a version of There'll Be No Teardrops Tonight for C6th lap steel near the bottom of my lap steel page. There's also a few Don Helms style tabs in there somewhere.

Gotta give props to Doug Beaumier again: he has a terrific version of "Cold, Cold Heart" on one of his courses. Check w/ him to see if he still carries it.

Try DON HELMS' own book with all these tunes and a CD. I bought it directly from Don Helms...

James,

Long story, but I wrote that for a guy at work who is not into country at all. He had placed a hard boiled egg into our microwave to heat it. He removed the egg, and as soon as he started to remove the shell, it blew up like a bomb, much of it landing on his face. No serious injury, just an endless succession of jokes about exploding eggs.
