Shows in Hawaii

Hi all, first posting from a new member from Australia.
I'm visiting Hawaii (Oahu) betweeen May 16-21. Would love to catch some good bands/shows while I'm there and would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm a dobro/lap steel player with interests in Hawaiian/ western swing/country/bluegrass and love a good full bodied cultural show with hula also.
Can anyone help?

Andrew, I usually don't recommend the Polynesian Cultural Center, because it's not so much about Hawaii but all the South Pacific cultures, however, you may enjoy the night-time show. Steve Cheney or his son will probably be on steel, and you'll get the better 'production' than most other places.
