Hi Guys and Gals, I'm a newbi here also. I have a Sho Bud pedal that has been sitting around for a while and wasn't strung when I got it. I tried to no avail to get it strung and working. No Luck. I took it to a shop for repairs and it worked for about an hour and then the pot came loose and fell down inside. I then tried to do it and the same thing happened again, and again and so on. any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks

Paul, go to www.scottysmusic.com and click on misc info. There is a drawing of a goodrich pedal that will show you how to string it up.( Same principal as a shobud pedal) Also, do a search here on the forum. Not too long ago, somebody posted a photo of a shobud pedal.

Sounds like you're not tightening the nut enough that holds the pot in place.
