For those who are feeling the effects of the economy right now.......here is an option for protecting your knobs. 3/4" Aluminum angle, 1/8" thick, enough for two amps and black headed stainless pan head screws (6). 4 are 1/2" long for ends. 2 are 1-1/2" long with small brass sleeve bearing to (stand off the center). Total cost for 2 amps about $12. Works great & looks pretty good.

Neil,
I done the same thing with a piece of oak.
took about 5 min on the table saw and drill
press.
spray painted it black. looks like it came on it.

I used plexiglass 3/16 x 1 3/4 wide and out flush to the side rails you can see your amp settings much better. and four little black rubber pads on the side rails on the front of the amp they space the face a little so you can lay it face down in your van without scrubing the front up. They say it is better on your speaker to haul it that way. I dont know but it works for me.
