The NV112,Steel King,Webb, and Evans. Add one more to the list, the Roland AC 90. Its an awesome amp for Steel. It weighs 24lbs and has plenty of power for small to medium gigs. After trying one out for the weekend i bought it and love it.Its very quiet and great in the studio. If you get the chance try one.

IMHO, they're nice for a small amp, but they're pretty weak on the bottom end. Great for a practice or small-gig amp, but with only two 8" speakers, it won't hang in there with a full band without miking it.

I always thought Roland had the best chorus sound, but this amp is kinda pricey (about $800) for what it will do. The neo speakers are nice, though!

Hank Ruf played at the Siloam Springs Show this weekend with a real tiny amp with a 10" aluminum speaker. I don't remember the name on the amp but it came out crystal clear on stage and really impressed everyone with a big sound on the base range for the C6th tunes. Nice separation as well. The sound I heard coming from that amp (and it was not miked) was incredible and it was about the size of a breadbox.

Actually Donny, I have found it has to much bass with my Derby. As far as power i'm going to use it out this week end and see. It has 45 watts per side. for bigger venues I have a powered cabinet with a 15 in it. What I have found is the speakers project very well. But you are wright they are kinda pricey but not any worse than some of the others. One thing I will add is it really inhances that Emmons tone.
