Very nice! What kind of pickup is that?

...just out of curiosity, why are some of the pedals disconnected? And don't say your dog did it! Winking

Hey Jim

The Pickup Says SuperSustain II on it ... Anything you can tell me about it?

The pedals. well I just started so I'm just keeping it simple...
I just put the 6th on today to play a Bb6 riff I found online...

PS. I really like your version of "All I do is Dream" any chance you'll post the Tab someday????

Ah, it's been a long time since I've seen the SS II, I remembered it differently... was thinking the magnets didn't show through the top like that. I had a late-70's MSA with the Super Sustain, not the II, and it was a very different-looking pickup... I was thinking the II looked similar. Anyway.

Thanks for the nice comment on "Dream"... sorry but I never got into learning much about tab, all I know is you put a number on the string for the fret, and I don't know any of the other symbols or stuff to make it make any sense. I'd be lost trying to write down pedals, knee-levers, and the rest of psg technique.

I had one of "the universals" back around 95, as I recall the pickup on it didn't have exposed magnets on top, wish I would have kept it! but at the time it seemed like too much.

Weird, I love a good sunburst on a strat, les paul or tele, but I can't stand 'em on a PSG! I don't know why that is...

Milton that is on sweet lookin guitar....When you had it restored, did they change anything....I've been wondering about adding a "lock" for the C6 lever?

Thanks for the compliment, Matthew.
It was restored long before I bought it so I don't know what all has been changed.
Tom Bradshaw doesn't remember much about it. Of course that was 15 years ago and many changes could have taken place since then too.
It has seven pedals (room for eight), four knee levers, and the lever top side by the pickup, which presently lowers the 5th string B down to an A. I call it the "elbow" lever because I don't know any better.
Been playing music for a long time but,if you can't already tell, I'm a newbie steel player. I'm fortunate to get this guitar and just trying to learn my way around on this beautiful animal. It is a handful but I sure like it. I think after about thirty or forty years I might just "get it".
