A while back I bought two necks of a hacked up T8 off eBay. Someone had converted it into a pedal steel or tried to. I've collected almost enough parts to assemble one neck (the better one) but still need a bridge plate. I scraped one attempt at building my own. It was close but not close enough. If anyone out there has one you'd consider selling please contact me.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Alan

Your thread on restoring the D8 got me inspired to try one myself. It won't be anywhere as fine as that one. I'm just looking to build a functional single with the fatter neck which is till pretty solid.

What I have is the two outer necks of a 1956 24.5" T8. It had been channeled and drilled out for a pedal conversion. They where bolted together and the height difference was extreme. Someone filled the channels and extra holes with bondo then painted it black.

It came with a tuner pan that had also been drilled out. My plan is two add tuners with a method I've seen it a previous thread. I also scored a great eBay deal on two Lolar pickup pairs. One pair went into my Rukavina.
