anyone know of any good steeling in the shreveport area the weekend of may 9-10......looking for some entertainment and maybe a place to learn some stuff...gonna be in the area for 3 days...
any help appreciated.

checkout robbie prim at the municipal auditorium, sunday afternoon, 2pm - 4pm, as the louisiana hayride
presents it's all new mothers day edition.
when you get to town ask anybody where to find
bud christian. he can put you in front of any steel player in town that weekend or within a hundred miles either direction.
there are still some legends around.
and the ghost's at the museum at the municipal are well worth the visit and the all new hayride is just the bonus........every sunday afternoon!

Hey Carrol, if you are up Texarkana way on Sat night, you might check out The Oaklawn Opry. I won't be there this weekend, will be at the air show in Shreveport, but Gene Simmons will be playing steel. He's a great picker and really nice guy.
