Seems mighty suspicious to me. JB never endorsed 10 string guitars to my knowledge, used a ShoBud 7/8 double neck and/or the JB frypan 8. My bet, the guitar in the ad is a 10 string ShoBud which Shot turned out using the mould for the JB Frypan. I have both the JB 8 Frypan and the Shot 10 Frypan...JB was
somewhat ticked-off that Shot kept producing 8 an 10 Frypans as he was supposed to destroy the mould, but didn't. This has all been discussed in the Forum.

Thanks for the replies...I don't know much about JB guitars but the add looked weird to me,It's also a very long drive being that we just just got a foot of snow, two days ago it was 50 degrees..Oh well.

10 string, 26 fret, beautiful case...

Couldn't it be that the listing is meant to mention one of those Rickenbacker single neck "Jerry Byrd"-Model Console steels? I know they offered 7 and 8 string models... but wouldn't know for sure of any 10 string versions. Yet, around this time Rickenbacker had long been offering other lines of steel guitars using similar hardware with 10 string necks, lap (B-10, since the early post WWII area), console and non-pedal/pedal combo consoles... so, maybe(?):
