Check www.midwestcountry.com

The website may be down. I just tried the link and it got hung up.

Headliner is a group called the Platte Valley Boys
They probably have a website.

Hey Joe, is Tony Endreesen (sp?) still with them? I remember him from the old days when our groups worked together on several jobs. (The Titans out of Duluth and The Trashmen out of the Cities). He's come a long way from "Surfin Bird" to Bluegrass.

The site didn't list who plays what........just their names and email. Somebody is bound to know who the steelman is.

I'm the steelman, usually. Very Happy

George, I don't know who's in the group. Yes, a long way from Surfin' Bird, but then again, alot of the same notes. Laughing

My schedule says the Midwest Country Band is opening for the Platte Valley Boys. Roual, if you haven't ever heard Joe Savage play, just tune in to RFDTV Saturday night at 8:00pm. It is a real treat.

The website says; Chuck Staggs is opening with the Midwest Country Band.

When you see Tony tell that his old friend Tony Farr
says hello. We worked together some back in the 60's
when I was at the Flame Cafe in Minneapolis.

Joe,
Chuck Staggs is a pretty fair singer writer and he loves steel. He will not work without a steel in the band. I will tell him who will probably be there.
Thanks

Some people call it the Midwest Country Show. I prefer to call it the, "Joe Savage Show". If you ever are lucky enough to get to hear him really solo on steel or dobro or harmonica, you will see why he is a show unto himself. A great guy and a great all around musician. You go Joe! Very Happy
