We had twin steels again tonight at the big dance in Nixa. I locked horns with another great steel player, Jimmy Burrells. Over this last year I have had the pleasure of locking horns with a bunch of good steel players. Gary Wilson, Jack Musgrave, Mike McGee, and now Jimmy Burrells. Each one of these guys is a great player. Our big band is the only band in the area with twin steels.

I love the sound of "Twin Steels" in a band,,that's one reason I loved Hank Thompson,,when he had "Bob White" and PeeWee Whitewing" on the steels,,then I came across a C D with "Tom Morell",Bob White" and PeeWee Whitewing",,called "Time Warp Top Hands,No Peddlers Allowed",to me thats Steel Playing...
