For those of you who've followed the forum for the last five years or so, you know about the holy-grail of the Zirconium bar.

These bars were produced for a short period of time and only a few, a hundred or so, were made.

They became legendary.

So... has Tribo-Tone put this whole issue to rest? I think so. I've played Zirconiums. Tribo-Tones are as good or better IMHO.

Thoughts?

I've never played a Zirconium bar, so I can't make the comparison. It's good to hear you think the Tribo-tone bar is equal to that bar, though.

I heard a big group a folks did some A/B comparisons between the Tribo, Steel bars and the Zirc bars in Texas last month. From what I heard the tribo-tone came out on top, though ones personal opinion is always the right choice in these matters. I have never tried a Zirc bar , and I don't belive they made them in the 3/4 round size, which is what I prefer.
I heard there was a good sized audience there, maybe one of the contestants will chime in.

I'm not a collector of tone bars, my interest is in having the best bar to use all the time. The Tribotone may be the "holy grail" Very Happy

Well, LT HAS his, so there's no issue! Very Happy I never did ask LT if his bar is easy enough to hold onto.
