Does anyone know for sure what ever became of Winnie Winston's S-12 Uni guitar---"the Steel"? He used it on many of his recordings and it was literally built by him. It's a piece of steel guitar history for sure. Just wondered what ever happened to it since his untimely demise.

Thanks, Mike. That guitar is such a piece of steel guitar history and evolution, I just had hoped that it didn't wind up as $3.00 item at someone's garage sale.

HI Paul - sorry I can't help you with the whereabouts of "The Steel" ...the last few times Winnie visited with me he had his Kline with him, I never ever thought to ask him about that old axe.
