I bought a used stereo steel preamp on this forum. Got a nice deal. It did not have a manual. I contacted GD, and he sent me one, and provided tips for use, and provided some very valuable processor interface information. He talked to me on the phone, and sent two thoughtful and informative emails, and the manual.
GD would not even accept payment for the manual. He took time and provided expertise on a used item, and would not take a dime. That my friends, is customer service (and I'm technically not even a customer). Here is to GD Walker: One of the good guys!

I've had a Walker Stereo Steel amp for about 10 years. They don't come any better than GD Walker.

John, my experience with Gerry mirrors yours exactly. I bought my Stereo Steel second-hand from another Forumite and Gerry treated me as well as if I'd been the original purchaser, with lots of support and advice. Couldn't have asked for more.

I've got three complete units two are brand new never used but in a new rack system fully loaded with some good stuff.
They are great units...
Gerry is great to deal with, always taking time out to help you with whatever you might need.
Keep building them...
Bill

I must agree with all the positive comments about G.D. Walker. I've been using one of his systems now for 7 yrs. and have been very happy. He surely is a great guy to deal with and have conversation with as well. One cool cat !!! Customer service way above and beyond too.

Sincerely,
Chris "Tiny" Olson

What he said!! In Spades. If Gerry wasn't getting so busy getting rich Laughing building steel amps he could be an A list session player.
