Just to quick note to say thanks to these two fellows. I ordered Mike's "A Different Slant" direct from him. He was out, so I was told bOb would ship it from SGF. Next thing I knew I was learning the art of the Leavitt tuning from Mike via b0b's expeditious and conscientious shipping. Thanks guys!

Regards,

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Leavitt tuning. I doubt if you could find anyone better to deal with than Mike and bOb....Mike's course is the foundation for anyone looking at the Leavitt tuning, and Bob is the absolute best at customer service. Be sure to check out Roy Thomson's courses (search here on the forum) and make sure you check out the songs posted by Bill Hatcher.

I've been playing with the tuning for about a year and am completely addicted to it. At first, it may seem a little more difficult than other tunings...C6, A6, and others...but the longer you play it, the more it opens up possibilities for lap steel not found in the other tunings.

Let us know how you are doing, and be sure to ask for help if you run into problems.
