Does anyone know the rough value of a '52 Fender Deluxe 6 lap steel in near mint (but with some paint flaking) condition and also its tweed case? Totally completely original.

Thanks,
Brad

$50. Can I pay by PayPal? Wink

I am no Fender expert, but when I was looking out for my first lap steel (ended up with a National New Yorker) on eBay in 2005, good condition Fender Deluxes seemed to sell in the $500 region. Now the prices are probably one or two hundred Dollars above that. I'll leave the fine tuning of the appraisal to the people who know more. Wink

Brad, I just though that if it is for sale I may be interested in buying this Fender Deluxe. Have you got any photos of it?

Cheers,

Fred

Fred, it is for sale, but we're honing in on a price.

I think that is a Champion? Not a deluxe 6. A deluxe 6 has 2 pickups like a stringmaster. However I am not completely sure. Confused

This Deluxe 8 sold for a little over $600 on ebay and I'm thinking an eight would bring more than a six.

Thanks Jude.

Jim, this is the early Deluxe, before they ditched the trapezoid pickup and went to the Stringmaster style under the strings.
