That likes it?

I have a NV112 but need more power/volume and don't see how 2NV112's can match 300 watts and do they not have the same preamp?

Me is very coRnfused

Hi Larry, I use one a lot but I usually bypass the preamp and plug my Revelation Pre into the "power amp in" in the back of it ...it always sounds great, and it has power to burn.

I believe the NV1000 and NV112 use the same preamp design.

Larry, yes, the Nashville 1000 and 112 use the same preamp, but different power amp, speaker cabinet and speaker(naturally). Most players I've worked with who use the Nashville 1000 have tried the Nashville 112 and find that it is sufficient for most gigs. Even the pro players use the 112 on most recordings.

However, nothing replaces having that additional headroom when it is needed when competing with that loud bandmate standing next to you onstage, or when playing a large stage. In that case and when you prefer a 15" speaker instead of a 12" speaker, the 1000 would probably be preferred.

If you have further questions, please feel free to call me at the factory. My toll free number is 1-877-732-8391, extension 1180.

Larry,
I have been using the Nashville 1000 for three or four years now and I like everything about it except the weight...
We play outside a lot in the summer; fairs, family reunions and weddings, and it is nice to have all the power and head room you need. I even use the factory reverb in the amp. It is a good amp, solid, clean and lots of power! This is my 3rd Peavey Amp. I played a Session 400 for many years, then the Nashville 400, now the 1000.

At home in my studio room, I love using 1 Nv-112 & my
Nv-1000 together, but come gig time, I load up my pair of NV-112's and they have all the power and sound I've needed so far and they are way easier to move and load in and out of the car and in and out of the gig. I also have a pair of Session 400's that have put on a lot of weight over the years! LOL

I love the Nash 112, it is great for small halls, an works very good going through the board. But for big jobs when your not sure you will be able to go through the board you can't beat the Nash 1000. I use the 112 for studio work, it is a fine amp.

I'm a satisfied NV1000 owner! Great amp.
In one of the Alt-country bands I play with, it's a necessity! Cool

I would like to compliment it with a NV112 for the pseudo-stereo setup in the near future.

I use the Nashville 1000 for seven years now and I like this amp except the reverb and the weight...

On stage with a band of six musicians it's the best amp for me.
