I don't have a Profex but reverb is always last in the effects chain.
On the other hand, you should never stop experimenting. Sometimes, when I'm bored with my playing, I start plugging in effects boxes and then turn them up all the way.
So, create a separate program where the reverb is first - and see what happens. |

Mine is last in the chain. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

Always last when I use it, which is rarely. _________________ No chops, but great tone

Last, but with delay it will mud your sound out.Too much effects rob the tru natural bite of a steel on
stage. |

I was just wondering about this the other day...
I am using an Alembic F2-B (no effects loop).
I have been going steel>reverb>f2b>power amp.
Anybod go to the pre-amp first, putting the reverb between preamp and power? |
