On Nov. 11, 2012, the GA Steel Guitar Association will honor our own "Larry Wimpy Sasser".

After over 40 years of picking with all the great stars, Larry is retiring from picking.

Larry wanted to do his last show for his hometown friends.

More details below.

Bill

Mr. Bill,

I want to thank you, Roger and Bob for putting me on the list as a player for this Jam.

Ya know, playin for Marshall Tucker does afford me the chance to play some real country and bust out on some real steel picken cause ya have to play it like the record.

Also, for me, its about the family of steel players and the awesome friends i have with you guys.
I'm sure this is why Larry wants to be with his family of steel players at his home town.

Bill, you took the time to get to know me and just want to say i'm honored to be a friend.

Thx again....kenny

This is looking to be one of our greatest shows ever. We are all looking forward to congratulating our home town "super picker" Larry "Wimpy" Sasser.

For you younger guys that came along after TNN, Larry was the steeler for the Nashville Now Band for 10 years.
Prior to that, he was a top session player, road player for Del Reeves, Jerry Reed and many others.

Come on down and help us make this a very special day for Larry and his family.
