Hey steelers........ I am new to the forum. 73yr.old guy trying to play steel. started out playing lap steel at age 7 changed to drums, vocal, and rythum guitar. Was given to me by an old ex pastor of mine, a D10-8/5 ShoBud professical. He didn't take very good care of it so its on its way to Billy Coppers to be cleaned up and restored. The Knee's are all messed up and some after market junk had been added. So here I am at 73 trying to learn this wonderfull guitar. I will be asking a lot of questions as I go along. Hope you guys can help at times. Using Jeff Newmans up from the top lessons. Also did a seminar with Doug Jernigan. So Bless ya All Jack Mattison. [used to be Jack Martin when playing pro.] |
