Has anyone ever noticed how BCT is hooked up on a carter? from what I see it is so simple. Can other manufactors use it without compensation,or do they do it a different way. It looks like on a Williams the fingers touch the body when not in use this looks like another working waay to do this.
Whatever the williams has great sustain all up and down the neck.

The use of the body as an "at rest stop" for the raise lever is a patented claim. It would not be possible to use the body in this fashion without violating that claim.

Bill would be the last person to violate someone's patent. It's not something he would do.
