I noticed on one of these speakers that the adhesive/dope at the surround connection to the cone there is a separation. These speakers date to 1963.
I was wondering what the best adhesive would be for a repair.
This stuff looks similiar to the dope my brother used on the fabric of his balsa airplanes (for those of us who remember putting those together, covering with fabric, etc.).
Please can I get some advice on the best adhesive to use for this repair.
regards,
Lefty
