... for putting on a great event last night in St. Louis, a tribute to Gram Parsons. The event was sold out, SRO, the bands were well rehearsed, the sound was exceptional. The show ran smoothly and on time, no egos or attitudes. It was great fun and challenge to try and learn the licks of JD, Loyd and Sneaky Pete, and to hear 4 steelers in the same show playing in those different styles.

I was supposed to try to play those tunes like the records? Oops, I guess I didn't get that email...

Seriously, it was a great learning experience, trying to "steel" all I could off the records, especially the Sneaky Pete stuff.
