Howdy folks!
I'm trying to repair the electronics of an old Supro D6 (double neck, with string thru pickups). It happened a moron tried a fancy custom wiring and actually screwed it up.
The outer neck control is supposed to be a neck selector switch (in my case it's been replaced by a pot and a strange array of capacitors).

I have no idea what type of rotary switch should I get, how to wire it, if the 2 pickups combination is series or parallel etc...
Maybe a good soul on the forum could take a picture / draw a schematic of the guts of his/her beloved Supro D6???
I'm especially interested in that rotary switch (as the other controls work fine).

Thanks!

I've just stumbled on John Ely's website, which shows several classic steel guitars wiring diagrams.
Among them is a 50' National D8, which (just a guess) may be close to the Supro. The National's neck selector switch is actually a simple 1P3T switch, selecting the front neck / no neck (no sound) / back neck (contrary to a Fender Dual, which is front neck / both neck parallel / back neck).

Do you have a sound when the neck selector switch of your Supro is in the middle position???

Thanks again!

The middle position on a Supro D6 selector switch is both necks ON.
