Check this player out playing a high dollar instrument and then give a listen to Feelin' Bad Blues on a Gold Tone. I did not know that the Gold Tone could sound so good. I know, it's the player, but this goes to show you don't have to spend the big bucks to get a nice sounding instrument. Enjoy-

Jude -- that's Rob Anderlik on the GT Weiss playin "Feelin' Bad Blues." Rob is a wicked good dobro player. If you haven't checked out his website, here it is:

He does an exhaustive reso comparison, too under "Guitar Comp." I see that he's studied with both Jerry Douglas and Sally Van Meter, which isn't surprising, after hearing how well he plays. If I make it up to Chicago this summer, I'd love to take a lesson or two with him.
