This guitar was made by Michael Dolan as a custom design in his last days at Alembic circa 1976. Extremely similar in design to what Doug Irwin was also building as he left Alembic around the same time in the mid '70s. This one has a flamed maple cap, burled rosewood body, multi-laminate neck with mahogany, purple heart, and other woods, rosewood fretboard, and more. It's a lightweight and acoustically very resonant guitar. Neck is narrow in width and semi thick. Extremely playable all the way up. Even more beautiful up close. Exotic, one of a kind instrument. Includes Alembic semi-hard case.

Pretty darn cool.

Whenever we need work done on our guitars, we always take them to Michael Dolan. He has a shop in nearby Santa Rosa.
